The badges accompanied an article on unique cycling clubs in the UK. I decided to make them into head badges to further tie into the cycling theme. The set also included an additional badge for their Sportive Guide supplement. Velocake: a riding club that makes stops at cake and coffee shops. Pickwick: the oldest cycling club in the UK, where members take on a nickname of a character from one of Charles Dickens' books. Hamilton Wheelers: a club that holds races on single speed bikes. Cycle Out London: a gay and lesbian club that organizes rides and events, including informal Sunday rides and weekend trips.
